About Eli

Rep. Eli Evankovich was elected to serve as the voice of the people of the 54th District in 2010. As a husband, father and taxpayer, he understands the economic difficulties families are facing, and is working to rein in government spending and bring back efficiency to state government.

Applying the expertise he gained as a financial analyst with U.S. Steel, Eli has made job creation his No.1 priority. He is promoting a business-friendly environment in Pennsylvania, allowing small businesses and manufacturers to create good-paying jobs while worrying less about government bureaucracy.

Along with job creation, Eli is focused on reducing Pennsylvania’s over-inflated budget by controlling spending, cutting waste and making our state more competitive. If families must spend within their means, so should the public sector.

Eli is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh’s College of Business Administration. He; his wife, Heather; their daughters, Mia Leslie and Elissa Aron; and son, John Alan, reside on the family farm in Murrysville on which he grew up and still tends.
