About Eli
Rep. Eli Evankovich is a third-term Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives serving the people of the 54th Legislative District, which includes parts of Westmoreland and Allegheny counties.

During the 2015-16 legislative session, Eli has been appointed to serve on the Aging and Older Adult Services, Consumer Affairs, Finance and Insurance committees. In addition, he has again been appointed to serve as a deputy whip by House Republican Whip Bryan Cutler. In this capacity, Eli handles a variety of responsibilities on the House floor, including assisting in member head counts and helping to promote certain issues.

Eli’s top priority is to make our state a better place to raise a family, get a job, and ensure prosperity for the next generation.

Prior to joining the Legislature in 2010, Eli was a financial analyst at U.S. Steel Corporation where he held various management roles of increasing responsibility. He and his wife, Heather, own and operate a small business that employs more than two dozen full- and part-time employees.

As a fourth-generation cattle farmer, husband, and father, Eli brings a unique perspective and vast array of knowledge and experience to the Pennsylvania Legislature.

Eli tends to focus on big-picture, incremental solutions and is a big believer that success is derived through hard work and personal sacrifice rather than government intervention.

Eli is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with majors in Finance and General Management, as well as core studies in mathematics and economics. He, Heather and their three children, Mia, Elissa, and John, reside in Murrysville near his family farm.
